To find out everything about the region and appreciate all its places of interest, don't hesitate to ask your host: she will be able to advise you on the must-see addresses and treasures not to be missed around La Baume-de-Transit.
On foot or by bike in the great outdoors
You'll have plenty of opportunity to fully appreciate nature during your stay. Take one of the many hiking trails in the surrounding area to admire the beautiful landscapes.
You can also explore the region by bike: a rental shop is located in the town, a few kilometers from your accommodation. In our lodges, you will find everything you need for your getaways.
We also invite you to try your hand at archery. There's an archery range located near our lodges. You won't be bored!
Sweets and gastronomy at the markets
What would Provence be without its famous markets? It's at their stalls that you'll best appreciate local produce and the region's expertise. Meeting producers and artisans or tasting their specialties will allow you to appreciate Drôme Provençale from a different perspective.
During your stay, visit the markets in Nyons, Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux, Grignan, and Vaison-la-Romaine. Between scents and flavors, your getaway will be memorable.
Provençal winemaking know-how
Wine tourism enthusiasts or those simply curious to discover the region's vineyards can explore the wine route that passes near your cottage in La Baume-de-Transit. Just a few kilometers away, you'll find an organic vineyard.
Drôme Provençale is one of the departments with the most organic farms in France. A journey of discovery, peace, and a change of scenery awaits you when you stay with us!
Events and entertainment
The year is full of rhythm in Drôme Provençale. No matter what time of year you visit us, you'll find something to do or see. In Grignan, for example, you can attend the Correspondence Festival at the beginning of July.
All summer long, Grignan comes alive with its Night Festivals. Theatrical performances take place in the castle courtyard as night falls. Remember to book your tickets for these exceptional evenings.
The Sérigoux Farm
Just a few kilometers from our establishment, you'll discover La Ferme de Sérigoux. There you'll find all the products of Gîte Les Pousaraches: lavender, flower, and chestnut honey, pomegranate juice and jelly, olive oil, lavender, truffles, and more.
All these products come from the plantations and the work of your host, Sylvie. Soon, you'll also find the results of the pistachio plantation for sale.
